With funding from the German Federal Environmental Foundation, the Darmstadt-based startup Revoltech was able to further research its process for producing hemp leather. With the funding, Revoltech has optimized its leather alternative with various surfaces, thicknesses, and colors, making the material suitable for use in many different industries.
